Manorama News, Suvarna News, TV9 win big at ENBA 2018

The 10th edition of the exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA), was recently held in Noida and while news broadcasters that have national presence were felicitated for their exemplary work, the regional players too shone at the awards ceremony that celebrates the success of television news professionals across 33 different categories.

Under the Programming category, Manorama News won a Gold for Choonduviral (The Pointing Finger) in the Best Current Affairs Programme Southern Region category. Suvarna News too bagged a Gold for Cover Story under the Best News Coverage-National-Southern region category.
Coming to Personality, Hariprasada A of TV9 Karnataka won the Best Anchor award – Gold.

The Jury this year was chaired by Dr. Nasim Zaidi, Former Chief Election Commissioner of India. Ltd; Raghav Chadha, National Treasurer & National Spokeperson, AAP; Shivjeet Kullar, Founder, NFX Digital; Sumit Sawhney, CEO & MD, Renault India; Vinod Sharma, Political Editor Hindustan Times; and Sunil Kumar , President, Businessworld.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
