De-growth of 14% in two-wheelers ad spends in 2005 compared
to 2004
• Maximum growth in last 5 years observed in 2003 (46%)
We divided all the ads in the ‘two-wheelers’ category
into five sub-categories, viz., Bikes, Scooters, Scooterettes,
Mopeds and Range, based on their type. (Specifically, ‘Range’
ads are those in which a range of two-wheelers are advertised).
Further, we analyzed the share of each of these sub-categories
in the entire pie of the ‘two-wheelers’ category.
